Blog about all things Rastafari. For those new to the Rastafari faith to those who are skeptical, I would invite you to read and contact me to further discuss your position. Jah Bless.
"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"
This means we must always Praise Jah, and be prepared to defend your belief. Rastafari must unite to gain recognition among disbelievers. Praise Jah today.
Because even inna Jamaica the economy is ruled by Babylon, we must find ways to create income for ourselves. Rastafari can easily do this; however, do not succomb to greed in the process. Help your brothers and sisters.
There are many practical, cheap start-ups which you can make money from; we shall try to limit our services to fellow Rastafari so as to allow us to thrive inna Babylon of course. Outlined below are a few practical options for creating income inna Babylon.
Make beaded Necklaces (with the colours of the flag of Ethiopia or Jamaica) and sell them via online marketplaces such as amazon. This benefits fellow Rastafari because if they are geared toward Rastafari consumers, we reduce the power of Babylon slightly. The most dread ting is when Babylon companies try to market Rastafari-themed products. We should, in theory, monopolize the market of Rastafari goods because we are the only Rastafari; same way we would not make Indian themed products in hopes of riches from things we care not about.
Make paintings and sell them via online marketplaces such as amazon.
Make Rastafari music
I will be posting much more on this topic due to this being a very important topic. Jah Bless and remember to keep tuned to this blog, follow my twitter @BunUpBabylon.
Please, whether you are a Rastafari or just curious about us Rastafari, it would be greatly appreciated if you could follow this blog or our twitter @BunUpBabylon which shows that this is truly a worthwhile pursuit.
Rastafari men and women affi unite and we must stay together; furthermore, this is the beginning of the expansion and wide-acceptance of Rastafari worldwide.
It would greatly benefit us Rastafari if we stick together and not allow Babylon to divide and conquer minds individually. Consider this blog a Rastafari News Outlet/Social Movement. We MUST come together, and we will prosper as Babylon has. Further knowledge will be provided once I am sure that people are listening.
I am doing this strictly to help others discover the words and ways of Jah, and because the world is always changing, I must document examples and so on. I am not making a dime from Jah praise and would never seek to.
For those who are new to the faith of the Rastafari, this provides a basic definition of what we, as Rastafari men and women, mean when we refer to Babylon.
You may have come across the notion of "living in a Babylon system". This can be widely interpreted but the author(s) of this blog can provide their definition and some knowledge regarding this phenomenon.
The Babylon system is any capitalist, colonialist system which exerts undue and disproportionate levels of power and influence over the day-to-day lives of humans.
This is our best explanation of the usage of the term Babylon when referring to the social and political aspects and powers which have oppressed humans in general for long lengths of time. If you are inna Jamaica and hear someone yell "run, Babylon!" this is likely in reference to the presence of police officers. We do not like the presence of oppressive regimes or oppression and corruption in general.
Some may argue that capitalist countries have a Babylon system inherently. It would not be much of a leap to believe this, in fact. Capitalism fails because humans tend to be selfish, and large sums of money allows for influence and power to be held by few. Income gaps in capitalism prove that the system is inherently flawed. Philosophically, one can prove the inherent flaws of capitalism relatively easily, as demonstrated below:
Large sums of money means power and influence
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Therefore, capitalism lends itself to corruption and thus the formation of a Babylon system.
This argument is created on the merits of my philosophical education, and contains no fallacious clauses; thus, we can see that it is logically sound until proven otherwise. If you disagree, feel free to email df1997fg7@gmail.com to give your opinion.
Rastafari are obligated under 1 Peter 3:15 to provide reason for belief in their faith and this argument will aid us in doing this; therefore, I allow re-post of my argument with link to my page in order to further enlighten those who have not yet discovered our faith.
This has been addressed in detail in a prior blog post, but creating income for yourself inna Babylon is a difficult task; however, this will teach you the bare basics. Jah Bless.
Create Rastafari Necklaces, Bracelets, Clothing, and so on.
- This is very easy to do. This is beneficial particularly because as Rastafari we can create products which other Rastafari will purchase. The most simple way to do this would be as follows: purchase wooden, coloured beads in bulk (you can buy them from amazon), as well as simple necklace strings or a similar material. You can then create Rastafari fashion wear such as necklaces and bracelets which you can sell on amazon, or to other Rastafari men & women you know.
If you'd like help inna the process, feel free to email me at the address in the first blog post. Jah Bless.
The Babylon system is deeply rooted and would take much to unroot. Shall we allow the world to embrace Babylon directly as a result of ignorance, or shall we tek action to unify and spread the message?
I believe the conclusion to be obvious. We have an obligation to spread Jah praise. Love fi Rasta Men & Women and Jah Bless.
Peaceful Ways to Thrive inna Babylon World: Tips for Fellow Rastafari
Spread the word of Jah Ras Tafari.
Become One and realize we can live simple while maintaining happiness.
Unify as Rastafari Men and Women
Produce goods which other Rastafari will consume.
This works in many ways and is the best method by which we can milk Babylon for their leftovers.
Create Rastafari crafts, posters, clothing if you have artistic ability (and sell them to other Rastas)
Create Rastafari music if you have musical ability (and praise Jah)
Create platforms solely for use by Rastafari Men and Women. (Email me at the one provided in the first post of this blog, I am doing such).
These three ways are crucial to thrive in Babylon. Particularly consider the third, as it will create an economy by which Rastafari can eat the leftover funds inna Babylon. We will effectively sustain each other as humans should; since the Babylon world has divided humans leaving them to not care about the next one, we must promote our existence and belief system. We do not need capital to exist beyond food, shelter and so on. Many Rastafari cannot afford basics, and we must do our best to help them. I am touching down inna Jamaica this year to do my part. We must unify. Riches in this life are nothing compared to our legacy and Jah judgement.
I am writing an essay on this topic which will be posted very soon so stay tuned. We must resist Babylon. Until I can post this essay, listen to something very relevant. We must unify Rasta men and women. Email me at the address on the first post in this blog.
Real words spoken in that. Bun all dem men. Rise together we must.
Universal acceptance of Rastafari without regard to race or geographic location. I plead Jamaican Rastafari to contact me, for I may be able to help. @BunUpBabylon on Twitter.
We can answer for you: no.
By succumbing to materialism you are working for Babylon in oppression's cause. Pay too much money for clothing, belts and jewelry and fund the rich Babylon loving people. Do not spend your time unwisely; be prepared to defend yourself from the Babylon system. With the funding you can buy these materialist items that mean nothing in the next life, you can do many other worthwhile things. Money is power in Babylon. Don't spend money with which you can help others with the same mindset. Don't spend money on excess; you are directly contradicting the teachings of Jah in the Bible.
Live simple and unify with other Rastafari such as we, and we can mek way out of Babylon. Live your life with a purpose and praise Jah.
Jah Bless,
- B Lion
We need to unify under Jah to spread his word as well as to expand our options under this Babylon system. Check the first post of this Blog to find my contact information. We must resist Babylon; I will not rest until it is bun up.
Jah Bless,
B Lion
Music from Rastafari is very good vibes fi the mind when man stuck in Babylon with no hope. Here are embedded some Rastafari Music mixes so you can vibe while meditating. Jah Bless & we must unite.
Jah is worthy to be praised. We must spread his word as obligated under 1 Peter 3:15 as outlined in the previous blog post. We, as Rastafari, have Jah within us, and shall unify to spread his word. Praise Jah in your heart, but praise him to others as well.
Mi say we must unify to gain strength in addition to this. See the last post on this blog to email me and connect with other Rastafari Men and Women. We must spread Jah word and remove ourselves from the filth of this Babylon world. Ease your pain by meditation; when you feel Jah you will feel peace.
I call forth all Rastafari men and women Worldwide to unify by contacting me to start this process. We can prosper within Babylon, while it bun to ash. Love and respect Jah.
Mi say Babylon affa burn man. Lions and Lionesses affi tek action because we know Babylon don't move with kindness and compassion like Rastafari. Furthermore then, we must fulfill our obligation under 1 Peter 3:15 "...Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do so with gentleness and respect."
So mi say we must unite and spread the message of King Selassie in an organized fashion as other churches do. We can begin by keeping in contact as Rastafari men and women. We will organize and praise Jah for he is worthy of our praise and love.
For this reason, I leave my email:
